Design Services
Shelley Spiegel Design provides professional interior design services tailored to each client's individual needs. Project proposals, timelines, fees, and the scope of work will be outlined in separate agreements when applicable.
A deposit is required before work begins.
All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a deposit has been received, your project is reserved and work may begin immediately. Because time, scheduling, and professional services are committed to your project, deposits cannot be refunded if you choose to cancel.
Merchandise Sales
From time to time, Shelley Spiegel Design offers overstock, sample, vintage, and clearance merchandise for sale through this website.
All merchandise is sold AS IS. While every effort is made to accurately describe and photograph each item, slight variations in color, texture, and appearance may occur due to photography, lighting, and individual screen settings.
Any and all other orders placed with Shelley Spiegel Design are specialized selections for each client and therefore any and all orders are considered special orders and are non-cancellable and non -returnable, once deposited. Full payment, including taxes and shipping, is required at the time of order placement. Orders will not be shipped until full payment is received. Please note that we strive to represent all items accurately, however slight variations may occur. Additionally, many pieces are unique and many items are artisnal in nature.
Prices are valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted. We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and checks. Wire transfer fees are the Buyer's responsibility. Orders are processed upon successful receipt of the required payment or deposit.
Shipping will vary by manufacturer and location. Manufacturers typically ship: outbound in-stock items between 2 and 4 weeks and custom orders typically ship outbound between 12 and 16 weeks, but may be longer.
Product Representation
We strive to represent all product accurately.
Returns, Refunds, Cancellations & Shipping
All sales are final.
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations.
All merchandise purchases are non-refundable and non non-cancellable.
All design service deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-cancelable once payment has been received.
The client is responsible for all shipping, delivery, freight, insurance, and related transportation costs unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Ownership of merchandise transfers to the client once the item has been picked up by the shipping carrier or freight company. From that point forward, the risk of loss or damage passes to the client.
Upon delivery, the client is responsible for carefully inspecting all items before accepting them. Any visible damage must be noted on the carrier's delivery receipt at the time of delivery.
Any concealed damage or shipping-related claims must be reported to Shelley Spiegel Design in writing within 48 hours of delivery and must include photographs of the damaged item(s), packaging, and shipping materials. Failure to report damage within this time frame may affect the ability to file a claim with the shipping carrier.
Please review all purchases carefully before completing your order.
We will communicate any significant changes to estimated delivery dates as soon as possible. Any delays are solely the responsibility of the manufacturers and not the responsibility of Shelley Spiegel Design, however, Shelley Spiegel Design will assist, where possible, in communicating with manufacturers.
We offer white glove delivery service to select regions for an additional fee. Please reach out to discuss shipping options and availability for your location.
White glove delivery includes a four hour window or a 1 hour appt window for an additional fee.

Removal of all packaging materials
Please note: The space for the new piece must be clear and cleaned prior to delivery. Our delivery personnel are not responsible for moving existing pieces.
Storage Fees: Should you be unable to take delivery, a 10% monthly storage fee applies after 21 days of order availability.
Pricing
Prices are subject to change without notice. Shelley Spiegel Design reserves the right to correct pricing errors and to refuse or cancel orders resulting from incorrect pricing or other inaccuracies.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to photographs, project images, artwork, logos, text, graphics, designs, and other materials, is the exclusive property of Shelley Spiegel Design and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shelley Spiegel Design shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of this website or from the purchase or use of products or services offered through this website or otherwise.
Where applicable, Client is responsible for proper installation by qualified professionals adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
We strive for accuracy in depicting products on our website and in our marketing materials. However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that product descriptions, colors, finishes, or other content available on the website are entirely accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
Due to the artisanal nature of products and variations in computer displays, actual colors, textures, and finishes may differ from those shown on your screen. Each piece is unique, often using natural materials that can vary in appearance. These variations are inherent to to the unique character of each item.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or the purchase of our products will be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles, California.
These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining terms remain binding.
